The championship game

Here it is, the grand finale of this odd little comic about NCAA men’s basketball. In case you missed it, here is what happened in MARCH MADNESS PART 2:

Ray Wagner is overly invested in winning his company’s March Madness bracket challenge.

When his obnoxious coworker Jake insults his intelligence, Ray decides to doctor some of Jake’s picks under the assumption he will be too naïve to notice.

Everything goes awry when Jake’s doctored bracket remains as the last perfect in the world.

A popular sports betting app hosts a special contest for anyone willing to place a bet against the newly dubbed “Oracle of OSU”. Ray decides to travel to Las Vegas to place his bet and watch the championship game live.

Ray thinks picking the final game correctly is his last chance to be “right”. With his last shred of confidence, he’s getting ready to place his biggest bet yet. Who will have the last laugh, Ray or Jake? Which team can go all the way, the cinderella Buckeye’s (favored by Jake’s prescience) or the fundamentally strong Bruins (Ray’s last hope)?
